So, I missed another week, I will get the consistency at some point, what an exciting week of basketball though! My updated record is 16-10, I will take that! So, into this week, to get us underway we have Bristol travelling to Leicester.
LEICESTER RIDERS V BRISTOL FLYERS:
Leicester are yet to face defeat in league competition, playing 3 games and winning 3 games, giving up just 70points per game. A trademark Rob Paternostro side. It will be an interesting battle of the backcourts - Geno Crandall and Corey Johnson going up against Teddy Okereafor and Zach Copeland. An exciting one for the neutrals, i think Leicester will see themselves out to another W against the Flyers, Geno Crandall seems like he cant be stopped and I don't think Bristol will be the team to stop him.
GLASGOW ROCKS V NEWCASTLE EAGLES:
Table toppers up against a team struggling to find any sort of form, need i say more. Cortez Edwards who flirts with a Triple Double in every game he plays and X2 MVP Rahmon Fletcher - one of the best backcourts in the BBL up against a youthful and inexperienced team that is the Rocks. Not to mention the form of Justin Gordon who is leading his team in scoring with 20ppg on a 52% conversion rate. I think a Newcastle win will come as no surprise to anyone.

MANCHESTER GIANTS V CHESHIRE PHOENIX:
Last game of the week, is the North West Derby, in contrast to last year, the Manchester Giants look like the favourites despite Cheshire impressing in recent weeks. The pick up of Mike McCall (former Giants point guard) and Jimbo Lull - averaging 12ppg and 20ppg respectively, I don't think Cheshire have enough. Manchester, despite losing a couple games recently, they've arguably been the teams best performances, showing they can compete with anyone on any given day, especially with the return of David Ulph adding depth to the 5 slot and a fully fit Lyle Hexom, this is the giants to lose.
