Not long till its back now, in fact at the time of writing this, 13 days. So that means Pre - Season Basketball!
Bristol Flyers and Sheffield Sharks went at it tonight in preparation for the 30th October, even though the score was meaningless, it was clear to see both teams wanted to win!
Bristol leading the way after the first half with exciting performances from Eric Lockett and Zach Copeland whilst Sheffield were down 9, Callum Jones and Kipper Nichols leading their scoring (both with 7) but Sheffield and Atiba Lyons weren't going to travel to Bristol to get swept aside that easy, they are sharks of course, winning quarter 3 18 - 10 heading into the 4th quarter down by just one.
This made for an exciting end, that it was. Zach Copeland lit the floor up leading all scorers with 25pts on 9/18 shooting, but that just wasn't enough to get the job done for the jome side.
Kipper Nichols led the Sharks to their 2nd win of pre-season tallying up 19pts on 7/12 shooting.
Bristol were without star point-guard Josh Wilcher whilst Sharks were without McKnight, Rob Marsden, Johde Campbell, Nate Montgomery and Marko Backovic.
Overall an exciting game of basketball!
