Plymouth Raiders v Surrey Scorchers 98-62

With a Slow start to the 2nd leg of the face - off, scoring only 2pts between them inside the first 3 minutes of basketball, Lovell Cook hits his trademark turn around jumper, to open the scoring for the Surrey Scorchers. Lovell Cook goes to the line to take a 2point lead but Chris Porter-Bunton opens his account to level the game once again. The trend of a slow scoring game continued throughout the first quarter, heading into a timeout with 3mins to play Surrey leading 11-7 both teams shooting under 40%.

The Former Solent Kestrel, Elliot Sentance has an exciting start to the game off the bench, up against Lovell Cook, scoring 6 points on him, Lovell tries to answer back forcing Sentance to pick up a foul in the scrappy affair, but he misses them both. Plymouth finish the quarter with a Sparse 2pt lead 17-15 at the Pavilions.

A Lively start for the Plymouth Raiders in the second quarter going on a 7-0 run to open the quarter with Ryan Beisty forcing Lovell Cook to miss and Elliot Sentance securing the and pne play, on nine points for the game. Plymouth Raiders continue the run outscoring the Surrey Scorchers, 24-12 for the quarter heading into the half - time break 41-28 for the Plymouth Raiders after slow start from either side. With all the scorers on the Scorchers side, they are struggling to get any sort of offensive rhythm going, Captain Tayo Ogedengbe has 11points but the Scorchers have just one team assist.

More of the same, Surrey only scoring on one possession inside 3 minutes of basketball, with the Plymouth lead extending out to 18 with a nice scoring run led by Prince Ibeh. Like i said last week against the Worcester Wolves, Raiders basketball is relentless with a 23 point lead against the Scorchers in Plymouth with 5mins to go inside the 3rd quarter of basketball. Surrey continue to struggle with Prince Ibeh dominating, 71-37 with 2 mins left in the third.

Men against boys from minute one as Plymouth just wont rest. 29 point lead with 5mins to go with their reserves on, seeing out this lead. Elliot Sentance seems like has been in the BBL for 5+ years on 20points and 7 rebounds for the game, absolutely killing it. The game finishes 98-62 in favour of the Plymouth Raiders as it was clear to see who wanted to win it more, despite both teams qualified for the BBL CUP Quarter Finals.
